The Bahu Begum, also a close relative of the Begum (also called Baha'i), is among the major prophets of Islam and among the most revered figures in their background. The Bahu Begum is famous for her narrative of her life being read by Baha'u'llah and, afterwards, by Baha'u'llah's son and successor, Abdu'l-Baha.

In the Qur'an the Bahu Begum is referred to as"the sister of Ali" and it was she who called the baby Baha'u'llah as"son of the sun". However, the Bahu Begum is not only referred to as the sister of Ali, but as the spouse of the first Muslim leader,'Alisaid The Bahu Begum was by many considered the creator of Islam.

For over half a century, the Baha'i community has been debating the character of her narrative, believing that the Baha'u'law really said that the Bahu Begum had never been married, though it was cited in Baha'u'llah's letters. As such, it has been claimed that the Baha'u'law actually supposed to refer to'Ali, Abdu'l-Baha's brother. Regardless of this, this Baha'i belief is now considered untrue from the Baha'i Faith.

There are several stories of Muhammad, during his early years, that lead him to journey around the area. It is said that Muhammad watched a man who had married a Baha'i and had no kids. Muhammad was mystified in the sight and wondered what the guy was doing using a Baha'i and no kids Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. This Baha'i had a story to tell of how he, along with the other Baha'i, converted to Islam and began a new family by devoting an embraced Baha'i.

It was during that period that the Baha'i community moved from Africa to South Africa. It was during the time that they also started to discuss the Bahu Begum's narrative. According to the Baha'i, Baha'u'llah saw this Baha'i and felt the necessity to pass onto a story of Baha'u'llah's mother,'Abdu'l-Baha.

The Baha'i consider that the Baha'u'llah's mother was Baha'u'llah's great aunt, Fatima, who was traveling with all the Baha'is in Africa. This story has been handed down to Baha'u'llah's nephew,'Abdu'l-Baha. After Baha'u'llah first discovered the story of Baha'u'llah's great aunt, he inquired Abdu'l-Baha when it was true. Abdu'l-Baha explained that it was and the Baha'u' llah loved the story, so that he read it out to Baha'i congregations.

The Baha'i consider that Abdu'l-Baha read the narrative to an audience since Abdu'l-Baha wanted to communicate to the world of the Baha'u'Allah's love for Baha'is. This story was then transcribed and then entered to the Baha'i Faith.

The Baha'i Consider that this was the beginning of a Record of Baha'is traveling from Africa to South Africa and that the Baha'i history came to a new level with All the Baha'i pilgrimage to the Holy Land and the re-dedication of Baha'i Temples. It's believed that this was the start of a long chain of events, culminating in the invention of the Baha'i Faith.
