A Simple Explanation for Beginners

Classical music is a combination of rhythm, harmony, and melody. That is the most interesting thing about classical which remains unexplored. The most impressive part of this is the entire combination is done under a limit. You have to maintain a limit in every aspect to bring the original taste of classical music.

More importantly, classical music connects you with nature. Like yoga, it would help you to ground yourself with the timing of a day. Divided into two parts- ragas (the melody part) and taal (the rhythm part), they are different for different parts of the day. Morning ragas are different from the evening one and the night one. If you practice them on regular basis, you can understand their difference. Ragas are the communication of any individual with nature with various moods, colors, seasons, and even hours of a day too.

And taal came along with the ragas which makes it more interesting. The taal word came from tali which are handclaps. Clapping hands has a direct connection with our heart which brings in positivity. And the sounds of ragas make you sing with a positive heart.

Thus, it is a beautiful combination between nature and human beings. And so music is called the most beautiful thing that can make any individual happy and content.
