Recommend 7.5 Pros This sequel improved a good amount from the first game. Per chapter and overall story arcs all feel like theres something going on. The art style and music are wonderful and keep you immersed. Game puzzles have become more interesting and challenging without becoming impossible. And the same hint mechanic is available in case you need it. Also, I did not run into any game breaking bugs, which is always a plus. Cons Once again, the story is completely linear, so theres no real reason to continue playing once completed. Also, as far as Im aware, there are only single solutions to all puzzles. Adding more options and story/environment reactions to how to solve the puzzles would increase this games replay value and score. Overall I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys point and click adventures. There are some references to the prior games story, so you may want to pick that one up as well, but find it on sale.. Not to hard not to easy, but much faster loading times in this one compared to the 1st game. Uninteresting story with bland characters. Most of the puzzles are too easy, still many are nonsensical. There is just nothing that the sequel does better than the first game, which was charming, had a better story and better puzzles. I don't see a reason why this sequel should exist.. Man, I don't know why I waited so long to get this. I loved the first one, and this one is even better. Good story, fun characters, great voiceacting, and allround great P&C adventure game.. Love love love this game.. Got it on sale and didn't finish it. Felt tedious after a few chapters and impossible to complete without using hints. Just wasn't very fun. graphics, story, and audio are terrific though.. Awesome game with great humour and riddles.. An absolute must have. Excellent sequel to the original. In some ways, I think I enjoyed it more than the original since it felt very polished and cohesive which made it clear that the developers really spent time finding subtle ways to improve from the last. The graphics and sound are amazing with a solid story. And best of all, unlike surprisingly most point&click games that always seem to have a weird user interface quirk here or there, this game nails it with flawless design where everything works exactly as you'd expect every time without fail. Technically you could enjoy this story without playing the first since there's a short recap at the beginning if I recall correctly and it's fairly self-contained in terms of the story - but it's definitely not recommended. Great game.
