The Princess of Leisure by Arthur Miller

Raine is a fictional character in the world of the Tarot, by Jean Vincenzo Photos Julien Raine. The name Raine, actually means"queen" in Latin. Vincenzo has said that he based the character on Queen Isabella of Spain, whom he had studied as a boy. She was the queen, who elevated him up.

Raine, Together with his three retainers, assists King Louis XIV of France Throughout the period of the Restoration. He's an important character in the background of the Hundred Years' War. Louis XIV was sick and tired of war, therefore he delivered Raine to negotiate with the barons of Ferencie, saying that he'd send them help if they'd get rid of the king from their own power. Raine agrees to this and the Barons do this, but only if the king abdicates his right to reign. While this happens, the king abdicates, and Ferencie happens over.

Raine is a dedicated friend of king Louis' wife Queen Isabella. He protects her, feeding her with all the information she needs to keep her healthy, as well as giving her false information about her husband's disease so she is able to maintain the throne for herself. When Ferencie realizes she cannot have the throne as her husband is still alive, she's Raine take on the function of acting as her tutor and chief counsellor. Raine continues to advise her during her reign, advising her to avoid the bad habits that kept her from success during her period . A few of those bad habits include being greedy and covetous, as well as disloyal to her king as well as fellow queens. Queen Isabella doesn't believe in teaching Raine farther, but he can, providing her with much precious information.

As the narrative proceeds, we learn more about Raine. We learn he is very compassionate, needing to assist those in need. This is shown when he does accompany the newcomers to the city of Amaranthine, in which they are placed under the care of their Neveau family. The Neveau family is a prominent family, along with their daughter, Cornelia, is married to the king. Along with caring for the newcomers, Raine helps to find them passing across the straits to the Mediterranean, and counsels them against going straight into battle.

Throughout the book, Raine demonstrates an artistic flair for storytelling. He creates literary scenes and dialogues to bring out the personality's distinctive qualities and characteristics Raine. His style is more conversational and sometimes rhyming, but he employs a special vocabulary and doesn't over use them. In particular, a poem written concerning Raine in the middle of the book describes his own experience of war, that adds some reality to the storytelling.

While The Princess of Leisure is a historically accurate book about the French Revolution and also lifestyle in the time period it covers, its appeal is much more than that. The plot and the characters are interesting and appealing to a lot of readers, including guys. It will make a great addition to any reading list.
