The following is a Q & A we did with one of our local agents. How would you describe our tire exchange center in Kuwait? "Our shop is located at Al-Gabel Street, Suite M, Suite 5, Kuwait City. Our employees speak English, French, and Arab, so there's no problem to communicate with them."
What kind of tires are they dealing with? "We deal with all types of tires: domestic (standard and race), but also foreign (for racing cars). The service is very fast and our tires are brand new. We accept credit cards and cash, but they are not our own so no worries there either."
Do you pay for delivery of tires? "We do not pay for delivery. All we require is proof of delivery and a signed title with a date of delivery. If the tire is damaged, we will replace it (with your approval, of course). In fact, we want our customer to have tires he or she can be proud of."
Are the tires stored dry and clean? "Yes, all tires are kept clean and dry. There are no metal cages to store them in, nor are they hung upside down. They're in a climate-controlled environment, out of direct sunlight and out of the elements."
Where does the tire delivery take place? "We have three shipping locations: Kuwait City, Dubai and Ma'al Bayda. Each shipment takes about two hours. We cannot guarantee delivery on dates that coincide with our school re-opening or sports event dates. When the center is closed for the day, call to see if we can come to your location and pick up the tires."
Is your center an independent business? "No, it's an affiliate program. We promote our program through our website and our affiliated institutions. We do not send tires through the regular school system in Kuwait or deliver them to students attending local schools."
Can you order tires online? "I can't confirm that yet. I don't know how easy it would be to order online, but a possible solution is that a parent could upload the photos of their child's school uniform, include the height and width and give us a call to make sure they're available. We'd call them and confirm the order and send them the tires through the regular school delivery process - and then return them as new, complete with the original box and labels."
What if you have outgrown your delivery area or don't have a school close by? "The center accepts tires both locally and online. We've occasionally had requests from out-of-towners who live several hundred miles away. Sometimes they want the tires sent in regular mail - but usually by UPS, which have more options and speed."
Can you purchase the tires online? "That depends. Many of our customers order online just to save time; others to order from our center because they know they can get the tires much cheaper there."
Does the tire center deliver the tires to your home? "Mostly, yes. We'll bring them to your house, unless you're very wealthy. Sometimes we have clients who don't have a truck or a home in the Gulf region and rely on someone else's. We have delivery vans with boxes full of tires at various destinations all over the Middle East."
