It's interesting how life's little decisions can and frequently do produce a HUGE influence down the road down the line. Only today, we got an e-mail today from a return client asking if she could postpone on her behalf get of padded areas for a couple days because her household is going to Europe and she's preparing 7 Woman Look Camporees to occur before she moves.

It built me consider when The Double and I transferred from northern Minnesota to the inviting climes of North Key Texas and what all it took. We loaded the 28 foot vehicle ourselves in late March just as the spring thaw was happening. As the trunk of the vehicle got heavier, the deeper it sunk in to the mud. It took two 4 x 4's, and a six-wheeler to take us out! The truth is without daughter Dale, it would not have happened as easily because it did. He surely got to the house, viewed the patch-work of stuff in the rear and virtually re-did the whole vehicle to create it easier to help make the 1972.6 mile transfer, but who's checking?

I had been offered and recognized the manager's job at a local branch of a national pc chain. While we were still in Iowa went south, we got the call that my keep, the main one I was transferring to, was to close in 10 times or less. The Queen and I looked over each other and asked each other out loud if we should carry on heading south to the unknown, OR turn around and get back to -30 degree temperatures for practically 4 weeks a year... anything we know and were, I guess, comfortable with. AT THAT MOMENT, we'd number careers, hardly any money and about all we knew was that we didn't want to be freezing cold for 8 months per year and when we were, we wished to be cool together.

Good artists, YES, prime shelf... poor golfers... YES, baseball people, HORRID!

Through my work working with padded spots, I've had the oppertunity to work well with the Los Angeles Leaders, Minnesota Twins and Timberwolves, the WWE and the NWA, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, FOX Sports, The University of Florida Gators (Yes... Superman DOES wear Tim Tebow shorts), Daytona Beach Thunderbirds, the whole WAC Football Convention, many times with A Special Wish Foundation, and a couple dozen girls roller derby teams... I'm the luckiest guy around and I know it.
