The scores required for application to different institutions vary. Generally speaking, more than 106 points in the TOEFL test can be regarded as a high score. Both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants achieving more than 105 points in the TOEFL test can effectively improve their chances of applying to the top 30 schools in the United States. In schools ranked 30-75, undergraduate applicants need 90 points and graduate students need more than 100 points. The TOEFL score is valid for two years from the date of the test. If you are not satisfied with your score, you can re-sit the test. There is no limit on the number of times you re-sit it.
