The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat will most likely be the next show by PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog adaptation. HBO is currently adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.

The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal will play Joel Miller and Game of Thrones actor Bella Ramsey is set to play Ellie Williams, two roles that carry a great deal of baggage both due to their emotional arcs and the they are perceived as characters to the fans.

The show is set to follow the story of the games pretty close, but it could have new additions which reportedly contain flashbacks and characters who weren't seen within the video games. The show doesn't have a time frame for its release, but is expected to release sometime in 2023.

It is thought that the show may being filmed, however it is likely to be wrapping up filming currently at this moment.Twisted Metal is also being screened on a small screen as a video game show which hasn't aired since the year 2012. Peacock will broadcast an adaptation of the game as a half-hour comedy featuring the likes of Anthony Mackie, Thomas Haden Church, Neve Campbell, and many others, so it will be a star-studded affair.

On paper, the show sounds pretty interesting, but it's likely to be a daunting task to do given the stylized character and scope of the Twisted Metal games. The filming process is currently at the point of filming or very close to starting production. The film has no official release date but is expected to release on Peacock at some point in 2023.Following the enormous commercial success that was Ghost of Tsushima in 2020, Sony quickly moved to allow a film version of the game that was already very cinematic.

The movie will be directed under director Chad Stahelski, the director of the John Wick series, so it's widely expected that this film will have some fantastic action sequences. The film is currently being directed by Takashi Doscher who is the director of several indie films, however it's still unclear what degree it will be based on the game.
