Top 10 Best Bowling Average in IPL History

For a bowler to strive in T-20 cricket, variations are handy. The bowlers must have a host of variations to take those crucial wickets. In a game where batsmen have shown no mercy to the bowlers, great bowlers from around the world also have often come out triumph and have managed to pick up wickets, boasting of good averages even in T-20 format.

South Africa’s bowler Kagiso Rabada has the best bowling average in IPL with 17.93, having played as many as twenty matches till now. Doug Bollinger and Dimitri Mascarenhas are second and third in the list with an average of 18.72 and 18.73 respectively. Sri Lanka’s legendary bowler Lasith Malinga having played 122 matches has picked up 170 wickets in his IPL career with a stellar average of 19.80. He ranks fourth in the list.
