If you were expecting anime HuniePop, prepare to be disappointed. Let's get the good/decent stuff out of the way first. The art is fantastic, though most of you know this already. The soundtrack is all right, too. Nothing about it stands out as memorable, but none of the songs had me reaching for the mute button either. Lastly, good on the developers for making the NC-17 patch a free download that's easy to integrate.

Now for the stuff I didn't like. The game is very slow to get started, and the Kojima-esque quantity of dialogue continues unabated throughout the experience. I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't find most of the characters boring, insufferable, or both. The characters and dialogue in HuniePop are not masterpieces either, but that game knows when to cut the BS and get back to the gameplay.

Speaking of, the gameplay here is way too simplistic and easy to manipulate. I'm pretty good at memorization, so I was able to power through most of the "puzzles" with no difficulty. For the few that gave me pause, I just took a snapshot of the preview with my smartphone camera and worked backward from there. HuniePop at least had some strategy involved. The other elements, collecting money, buying gifts, etc, felt like chores to get to an endpoint with little sense of accomplishment when you got to the end.

Oh boy, let's talk about endgame. Once you've built up your relationships with each girl, you have the opportunity to "confess" your feelings to them. If they accept, you get to take them back to your room and have your way with them. Now I'm no prude - I've watched my share of hentai and even own some doujinshi. However, one particular character's ending scene made me outright uncomfortable. I actually quit the game before it finished playing out, which means I missed out on the achievement. I don't regret that course of action for one second.

I saw a thread in this game's discussion forum titled, "so it's a bad copy of Huniepop [sic]." That statement sums up Tropical Liquor pretty well. HuniePop is polished and had some actual thought put into its mechanics, along with adult content that's far more tasteful. Spend your money elsewhere.

PS - This game's lack of controller support is inexcusable. Smaller visual novel games made by essentially two people included it. Why not here?. Game loading too slow.

Why I don't chose other better galgame.. I've been playing eroge for around 8 years, and I've played a lot of it, and would definitely consider it a hobby of mine. Throughout those 8 years, I can't recall dropping anything as fast as I've decided to drop this game. The plot is nearly identical to any other generic eroge and the characters are unbelievably bland, all with a similar kind personality type with the exception of the absolutely horrid cookie cutter tsundere. I was willing to look past this because the art was nice enough, but what I considered to be the last straw was when the tutorial started and I witnessed perhaps the worst UI I've ever seen. Really, I would have preferred the default Ren'Py choice boxes than the plain off centered buttons it showed me. After repeated signs of unapologetic laziness, the game just didn't seem worth it. Admittedly, the only reason why I bought this game was because I wanted a game like Huniepop and that is really quite all this game is. It's pretty clear that this game was made for no reason other than to mirror Huniepop. Just to mention a few pros, because there are some, the art is amazing, the music is pretty decent, and despite the UI's horrible layout, the graphics are very clean.

TL;DR There's not a trace of love or effort put into the game, if you want to play a game like Huniepop just save yourself the 10 bucks and just play Huniepop.. Right, i have 15 hours on this game and outside service i look at Anime tiddies 90% of the time. So i have a standpoint

The reason i was kinda excited about this game was because it kinda looked like Huniepop, but with Sayori art. And i play Nekopara to help me sleep at night from PTSD (jk)

I do not recommend this game, but if you really dont want to wait for one of those e-hentai sites to post every CGI

You are forced to play the tutorial, which is kinda slow and fed like a teaspoon.. Dont they think the ones who are playing this are 23 year old unemployed virgins?

After meeting all the characters you get taught by Naomi that you can talk to the girls you met, thats fine enough, and you ask questions or get on a topic. About what they like and stuff. Kinda like Huniepop, so a good start for this game.

You find out Naomi is a Manga fan, old school style with Magazines and stuff. She then teaches you how to Buy items which you borrow 3 Bitcoins from Her, to buy a Manga. These items you give during the night time so you can play ''Tropical Liquor'' with the girls to get to see some♥♥♥♥♥♥ YES.. FANSERVICE

During night time you get 3 options.. well 4 if you buy them the right item

And well.. The Tropical Liqour game which starts from Easy/medium/Hard

+The Music in these ''Tropical liqour'' mini-games are acually pretty nice. I like Erikas and Sakurako alot

On a date you get something that worries them (unlocks the Pink item) Some dont see the world, others are here to Heal an injury. It felt kinda nice, getting some Character from each of them, but.. of-course it gets ruined by that your guy in EVERY situation accidently takes of their bra.
There was a few scenes where the bra came off and i just sat there questioning my life.. ''How on ♥♥♥♥ing Earth did this happen?.. I jus.. wha?''

And you Get the Rewards of Sayoris GREAT artwork. HELL YEAH. All that i questioned my life for, got to this.
+CG's are great, alot of detail from Sayori again. Little bit of Cheesy loving. You talk, and you kiss and then you ♥♥♥♥. another CG. BAM fantastic. But turn off your audio.. and listen to some jazz to acually enjoy.

When done ♥♥♥♥ing you get credits and then After math. Allways a happy story on everyone. Some you marry and others... maybe marry later.

Conclusion
Very slow... I lost during my first round.. but i kept the 1000 Bitcoins from last round, making it Easier then making me think differently
Great art
Good Mini-game music.. Some music in the game is straight up Nekopara. Just like hunie pop but instead you get drunk with better waifus! Very family friendly. It is a normal galgame. The girls are cute, and the storys are simple but fine. However, the game mode is kind of boring. If the game is designed to be more playable will be better.

The way of gain money really makes no sense.. the dialog is repetitive. the gameplay is kinda bland. there is not much to do and the way to progress is infuriating. Voice acting is ok and most of the art is pretty nice, but there are exceptions.. I love the art style, I can see why this game is somewhat inexpesnive.

I just wish it was a bit more challenging; an easy game to get for 100% achievments.
