keywords: allfit dental casts, low-temperature thermoplastic splint

Thermoplastic splints are often used to fix broken or malformed teeth.

It can be hard to determine which type is best for you, but the following is a list of the most common types and their uses.

Full-arch splint: Full-arch thermoplastic splint is worn on the upper and lower arches of your mouth. It can improve the function of your teeth by holding them in place.

Partial-arch splint: Partial-arch thermoplastic splint is worn on either the upper or lower arch of your mouth. It can provide relief from tooth pain that may be caused by an injury or decay.
