Diablo 4, regardless of Diablo 4 Gold promotions in BlizzCon, is years and years off. Despite some of Blizzard's recent missteps (like never releasing a new sport in years), I am obviously looking forward to another sequel in what's my most-played video game set ever (likely 3,000 hours in total?). And yet it feels like something is going to need to tide me over until D4 arrives.

That may be Godfall, the next-gen PC and PS5 game out this autumn, a"looter-slasher" released by Gearbox. However, if we are sticking with the familiar, that may prove to be more Torchlight 3. Torchlight 3 is not a title, but instead a model and title change. Torchlight Frontiers was a sport that has been in private alpha testing for some time and Runic Games has come out with an announcement about its own fate.

From that alpha testing, the comments they received, and that they agreed with, was that Torchlight Frontiers ought to be substituted and turned into Torchlight 3 instead. This also comes with a version change, as Frontiers was going to become a free-to-play MMORPG, however, is now a"premium" pay-up-front title rather, which I doubt many players will fret about.

Back after Diablo was the ARPG around, both chief rivals were Torchlight and Path of Exile, two quite different takes on the exact same concept. I gravitated more toward Torchlight, since it felt much more rewarding and less complicated than it had been to buy Diablo Immortal Gold learn the ins and outs of PoE. Suffice to say I am extremely eager to see what Torchlight 3 will probably be like, particularly with a twist into MMORPG land.
