The pandemic was a time when the Korean trend of making Dalgona became so popular that everyone from celebrities to bloggers, this coffee trends paved its way to the hearts of every coffee lover. just like the delicious and foamy Dalgona coffee, this luxurious and rich coffee is believed to be the next trend. What exactly is Freddo Cappuccino exactly?

Freddo Cappuccino can be described as an Greek frozen coffee drink. It's smooth and foamy. The texture and taste of this coffee delight resembles much to Frappe, but the creaminess in this Greek-style drink makes the actual difference!

Food bloggers were introduced to this traditional Greek drink. This drink is a classic in cafes in Greece, Cyprus, and even Italy.

What is the difference between Frappe and Freddo Coffee?

Both drinks are very similar. However, Freddo is made using espresso shots while Frappe utilizes instant coffee. Frappe has more milk/ cream than Freddo.

The recipe for Freddo Cappuccino

The original Greek iced coffee gained popularity after a food blogger Carolina Gelen shared a recipe for this basic cold Cappuccino.

This simple recipe is simple to make. Just add 2 shots espresso, crushed ice and sugar to shaker. Keep shaking till the blend is frothy and smooth.

After that, place to a glass or jar add 3 portions of thick cream and 1 part of milk. Finally, add some vanilla essence. Mix it with a whisker until the mixture becomes thick and foamy.

Use a glass to pour the coffee mix into it. Add the milky foam to the glass. Make sure that all the layers of coffee aren't mixed, giving it a distinct taste.
