It is a two-component waterproof adhesive that is suitable for all types of plumbing work in the home. In addition to being very easy to apply, plumber's putty has a fast drying time and manages to create watertight, airtight and durable joints. This specialty adhesive is ideal for damp areas of the home, both indoors and outdoors.

HOW TO APPLY PLUMBER'S PUTTY
Here are a few simple steps to follow to apply "Bristol Plumber " putty effectively:

Work safely. Protect your hands with gloves and work in a well-ventilated space. For greater safety, follow the recommendations indicated in the instructions for the product to be used.

Make sure that the surfaces to be repaired are clean and dry, free of dust, grease or other contaminants that can affect adhesion. You can help yourself with some alcohol. It is advisable to sand the pieces gently to facilitate the grip of the putty.
Before application, test the fit of the parts to ensure a strong bond.
Cut a piece of putty to the size you consider necessary. Knead with your hands until unifying color and consistency.
Apply an even coat of caulk to both pieces or just one of them, depending on the manufacturer's instructions.
Put the pieces together and press firmly. If you think it is necessary, you can use tweezers to prevent them from moving during drying.
Drying time may vary depending on environmental conditions and the amount of putty you have applied. Check the instructions on the packaging. Generally, 24 hours are enough for the product to reach maximum resistance.
Cleaning. Remove caulk from tools and objects as soon as possible. To do this, warm soapy water will suffice. For other surfaces, you can use a cloth or paper.

Remove caulk residue. If you find product residues in unwanted areas, remove them as soon as possible to prevent them from drying completely with a damp cloth, warm water and soap. If it has hardened, you can use a notched scraper or spatula.

Once the product has hardened, you can proceed to give it the desired finish. Most plumber's putty can be easily sanded, drilled, and painted.

PLUMBER'S PUTTY: ESSENTIAL FOR WET AREAS
A faulty plumbing installation can lead to a multitude of problems: from high water consumption costs to costly repairs to damaged materials. But not all adhesives are able to solve this type of problem in an effective and lasting way.

Pattex Nural 10 Plumbing and Heating Repair Putty is an easy-to-apply adhesive specially formulated for humid environments. Simply follow the steps listed above for this plumber's putty to provide excellent results. After the drying time of 1 hour, you can give it the finish you want and enjoy a like-new installation without calling a professional.

Thanks to its wide thermal and pressure resistance, it is effective in heating and cooling ducts with exposure to cold or hot water.
