Why does Monterey mac OS keep freezing

After upgrading to macOS Monterey, a number of Mac customers have reported suffering system crashes. The Mac, according to some, restarts at random. After awakening their Mac from sleep and restarting to the Apple logo, some users have reported problems. You may receive a message stating that "your computer was rebooted due to a problem."
This post will show you how to fix Monterey's crashing issues. You might also want to look at your crash reports.

Upgrade & Update

Make sure you have the most recent version of Monterey installed on your Mac. You may update your software by going to System Preferences > Software Update.
Furthermore, an app could be the source of your crashing problem. When you open an App, for example, you may discover that your Mac crashes and restarts. When you upgrade to the latest version, built-in programmes like FaceTime and Safari will be upgraded.
Update your software

Ensure that all of your Mac's other apps are up to date:
• Go to the Apple menu > App Store if you downloaded any apps from the Mac App Store. Alternatively, go to your Mac's App Store and select Updates.
• If you used a website to download apps. Within most apps, there is an Update menu. You could potentially reach out to the app's creators.

Safe Mode is the default setting.

The next step is to restart your Mac in Safe Mode after checking that the macOS software and all of your programmes are up to date. This problem may be resolved simply by restarting in Safe Mode. Safe Mode may also assist you in determining the source of the crashing issue. Take the following steps:
• Determine whether you have an Apple-made Mac (such as the M1) or an Intel-based Mac. Go to the Apple menu and select About This Mac from the drop-down menu. Then select the Overview option from the drop-down menu. Then take the actions outlined below:
• Intel: Shut down your Mac. When your Mac starts up, hit and hold the Shift key. There will be a login screen. When you see it, release the Shift key. Log in to your Mac computer. It's possible that you'll be asked to log in more than once.
• Apple silicon: Shut off your computer. Hold down the power button until the startup options box appears. A gear icon and an icon for your startup disc can be found in this window. Press and hold the Shift key when selecting your startup disc (such as Macintosh HD), then choose "Continue in Safe Mode." Then log in again; you may need to do it multiple times.
• Switch to Safe Mode on your Mac. If your Mac runs slower in Safe Mode, that's normal. Is there any crashing? Reinstall macOS if the problem arises in Safe Mode (see the step below).
• Restart your Mac once more. Safe Mode will be exited as a result of this action. Re-examine your problem.

Options for launching a business

Make a new account for yourself.
By creating a new user account, you will be able to test and begin isolating an issue. This will also allow you to determine what is causing the issue in your current account. Here's how to do it:
• Go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Users & Groups on your Mac. Make a new account for yourself. • Create a new Admin user account, then restart your Mac and log in with the password for this new account.

Is the crashing issue still there with a newly created user account?

You may want to transfer files from one account to another if the problem does not appear in this new account. File Sharing is an option.

Steps to take next

If the problem persists, you may want to reset your Mac's NVRAM (or PRAM) and SMC.

Install macOS again.

If none of the suggestions above help, you may need to reinstall macOS. Here's how to go about it:
• Select the macOS Recovery option from the menu bar. Again, how you access this menu is determined by whether you have an Intel or Apple Mac. This is explained in the Safe Mode section above.
• Apple silicon: Shut off your computer. When the startup choices box displays, press and hold the power button. Continue by selecting Options (the Gear icon). And then follow the instructions on the screen.
• Intel: Shut down your compWhy does Monterey mac OS keep freezinguter. When your Mac starts up, hold down the Command and R keys until the Apple logo or the spinning globe icon appears. Also, stick to the steps.
• Choose Reinstall macOS Monterey from the drop-down menu.
• You will be guided by the installation. Stick to the path.
