Bedroom toys are making their way from specialty stores to general aisles, signaling a significant shift in sexual attitudes. Sex toys are no longer restricted to conventional sex stores and can now be found on the shelves of mainstream retailers.

"For the past three years, we've been growing at a pace of 80% and the stats are changing for the better. We are happy with the ways people are being vocal about their sexual needs," said a Happy Bam spokesman.
"The taboo is dissipating. Online sales of sex toys are also on the rise, a tendency attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic's problems.
When dining-in was prohibited, and gathering restrictions were restricted to two individuals during COVID-19 Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), Happy Bam, an online shop, saw sales increase five-fold.

"This industry is inextricably linked to COVID-19, and when we had a (partial) shut down in May, everything surged — traffic soared," stated a company spokesman.

"The first lockdowns caused significant surges in sales, with sales doubling or tripling depending on the market or retailer," the spokesman said. "What we've noticed is that for shops who offer online, our internet sales have increased considerably."
