Wrote a book - what to do now?

Even completing the first book is a huge task in itself. While writing a book, it seems many times that the book will not be completed. Sometimes there is self doubt whether people will like what I have written or not.

Now that you have completed your book or are about to do so. So what do you do with the book after that? How to contact the publisher, where to contact these questions become important.

• First of all, what book have you written? At least send it to your 5-6 friends. While sending the draft of the book, just keep in mind that these people are not the only people who admire you. Let those people tell you their honest opinion. Because tomorrow when your book comes out, people will not think that you will feel bad or good, they will just tell their opinion.
• After this, according to the feedback received from friends, if you feel that something should be changed, then change it.
• About Book: Now write a two-page synopsis about the book. What is your book about? Remember you don't have to be carried away while writing the synopsis. This is the part of the book that will not even come in the book. This part should be like you have to talk about your book for five minutes in a room full of 200 people. Obviously, you will not be able to hear the full story of the book. You have to explain it in a way that makes people want to know more about your book. Think of it like taking out the trailer from the whole film.
• About the author: See if this is your first book, then people do not know you because of your writing. That's why it is important that you put yourself in front of people as a person whose story you want to hear. There is something about everyone that is very unique. For example, the person in front has to go on a long journey with you and you have to tell such a thing about yourself that the person in front will be interested.

• How to Find a Publisher: This is the easiest thing to do. Go to the Books section on amazon and browse through the books of your choice. Then calculate which publishers are publishing the same books as yours. If you look there, along with the book, the details of the publisher are also there. Simply find that publisher online and send your manuscript to their email address or email address.
• What to do now: You are not the only one who sent the book. Spend the next 2-3 months waiting to see if the answer comes. Some publishers respond quickly. Some publishers may ask you to self publish. I will write a separate post on self-publishing of the book.
