https://www.packwheel.com/ - Have you invested in making your hunts easier by carrying all your gear and trophies on a light-weight deer cart? If you haven’t, then it’s something you should seriously consider. For those who have invested, you may be wondering, "How do I load this deer into my cart all by myself?" If you haven’t already been in this situation. Luckily we are going to provide you with a few tips that may help you.
First, it is important to note that there are many variations of deer carts, and not all are built and function the same. In fact, some versions are single-wheeled, motorized, and even packable deer carts such as Pack Wheels.
#1 - Standard deer carts
For standard carts, turn it on its side and lay it along the back of the deer. Tuck it up tightly to the deer. Roll both the cart and the deer at the same time upright onto the wheels. This can be made easier with a couple of tie-down straps to cinch your trophy tightly before turning it upright.
#2 - Packable light-weight deer carts
For this specific type of cart, your options will vary on the size of your trophy. For trophies under 150 lbs., you can set the cart directly on top of the deer, cinch it, and use the handles to leverage right-side-up. Bigger trophies can be quartered and carried by attachable panniers or saddlebags.
