Pranayama Techniques to find peace

Full Yogic Breath

When the mind has had enough of the worldly chaos then, diverting your attention to synchronize your breath and bringing it back to a normal and relaxed pace proves to be a boon. The Full Yogic Breath exercise has three stages of breathing namely, abdominal, diaphragmatic, and clavicular. The anatomy of breath is always taught at the Yoga and Meditation Retreat. In this with every inhale, the belly rises with the expansion of lungs and heart and the rising of collarbones and exhale is its vice versa.

Brahma Mudra

To channelize the focus, Brahman Mudra is performed with four inhalations and four exhalations that involve releasing in the shoulders and neck by strengthening the retinas and memory of eyes. The breathing pattern involves the movement of the head in four directions, the first exhale at the right, second to the left, third towards the sky, and fourth down the chest. And the inhalations bring back the head and eyes to the centre. You can go for Weekend Yoga Retreats to get the hold of pranayama exercises.

Sitali/Sitkali Pranayama

The Sitali/Sitkali Pranayama is known to be the cooling breath as it brings in the fresh air across the tongue and into the mouth. It lowers down the body temperature and stops all the nervous system activities to keep the mind focused. During inhalations, the tongue is rolled longwise and is behind the teeth which let the air enter either through the tongue or teeth and while exhalation the air is gently released from the nostrils. The intricacies of any exercise can easily be mastered with a Yoga Instructor Training.
