Just installed a fresh copy of CentOS 6.2, and unfortunately I can't seem to get my motherboard's built in network card working. The OS picks up the card and assigns it interface eth0, but it refuses to get an IP address. I've confirmed my DHCP server is working fine, and i've checked all my connections. The switch even picks up the connection and it's identified as 1000mbps. I've also tried assigning the IP address manually, nothing seems to work.
I even updated the driver with the latest available on the Realtek website.
Network Interface: eth0 / Realtek RTL8111/8168B Motherboard: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3.
I would appreciate any insight you guys could offer.
