Now, if you are changing your operating system from an Android to iOS, don’t start manually adding every single one of your contacts to your new iPhone. There is a quicker and easier way to do so.

Keep reading this article to learn how to transfer contacts from Android to iOS.

Use Apple’s Official App

Move to iOS is the first application by Apple that helps Android users migrate to iOS.

In fact, you can use this app to copy messages, photos, and more from your Android to that newly bought iPhone or iPad.

This application enables users to shift bookmarks, email accounts, calendars, and contacts from their Android smartphone to the iOS device over a private Wi-Fi network that iOS created in the process.

Follow the below-mentioned procedure to transfer your contacts using Move to iOS:

Step 1: Install the Move to the iOS application on your Android.

Step 2: Launch the app.

Step 3: Tap “Continue” when prompted.

Step 4: Tap “Agree” if you agree to the terms and conditions after reading them.

Step 5: The application will now request permission to access your data, such as your contacts and messages; grant them.

Step 6: You will now be prompted to enter a 12-digit code from iOS.

Step 7: Grab your iPhone to follow the on-screen instructions to begin the setup process.

Step 8: Once you have reached the “App & Data” screen, tap “Move Data to Android,” and a 12-digit code will be presented to you.

Step 9: On your Android device enter this code into the Move to iOS application.

Step 10: After this, you will be able to select the data that you want to move from your Android device to the new iPhone.

Your contacts and all the other data that you selected will now be transferred. This might take a while depending upon the volume of data you have selected to be transferred.

Once the transfer is complete, just keep following the prompts on the screen to complete the usual iPhone setup process. Once your iPhone is booted, you will automatically gain access to the data that you transferred from your Android.
