Emoticons are one of the best features of the internet, and if you're reading this, you're probably aware that there are many different types of emoticons available, and that some of them are better than others. The most efficient are the ones used on mobile devices, which are referred to as "Lenny faces" for obvious reasons, and they're growing in popularity every day.

Lenny face is a very famous Emoji on the Internet. There are many people who use Lenny face to express their feelings using this site. Lenny face is often used in social media such as facebook and twitter. Some people are curious about what Lenny face really looks like and ask for its origin. In the following, we would like to introduce to you the origin of Lenny face.

Emoji are a pictorial form of non-verbal communication, created with the intent to express emotions or feelings using symbols, icons, and pictograms. A single emoji is usually represented by a single glyph, however, there are some emoji that have the same representation of the meaning across different platforms. These are called homographs, and there are three types.
Emojis, as they are commonly referred to, are so much more diverse than that, though. In Japan, they have been used in place of letters in written communication for decades, also known as Kaomoji but they have only recently become mainstream in the United States. People have been using emojis to communicate happily for years, but they really took off around the time of the iPhone 6 release in 2014.

Since then, the emoji universe has grown massively—so much so that the Emoji Company keeps a database of every emoji, including their year of invention, their main use, and their exact meaning. There are more than 2,000 different emojis, and the list continues to grow as new ones are invented. Of these emojis, the most widely used is the “smiley face”—which is often used as a kind of “all-purpose” emoji that is universal and does not convey any specific meaning.
