Kaleidoscope Homecoming Concert
The Kaleidoscope concert entails performance of various types of music at different places and venues. Since the event includes different musicians and songs, people are motivated to attend the concert so as to enjoy the music (Auznieks et al.). Therefore, the concert normally has many attendees due to the diversity of music, and the event organizers must ensure that there are different performers so as to meet the expectations of the audience.
The Kaleidoscope concert that was recently held in Townsend had different and amazing performers on stage. It began with a breath-taking performance of an orchestra which excited the audience and lifted their spirits. The instruments were played nicely with a classical sound that filled the entire hall with the perfect rhythm from the ensemble. The notes were played so well that one could hear as well as feel the contribution of each key. This opening performance lit the beginning of the concert and surpassed the expectations of most attendants.
The concert was further made colorful by a magical cappella performed by a choir. The melody and rhythm of the voices was splendid, and the tones were combined so well to drive the message intended by the cappella to the audience. Immediately after the choir, the organist continued the performance with perfect tones. The tones were ranging from high to low making the sound of the organ superior. The organist played different sounds well, and it sounded like a fine pedal diapason that was combined with a very soft 15-feet reed with an equal quality and intonation, too. One could clearly hear the sounds being played in his or her mind rhythmically.
After every performance, the crowd cheerfully applauded the performers with enthusiasm. Next on stage was a soloist who did not perform so well according to the standards set by her predecessors. Her voice had a stagy composition in tonal sounds. From the back of a keyboard once in a while, the player did not combine so well with the soloist. The music sounded like worst performance of the century, and it sounded strange due to the many discords. Nevertheless, when the soloist was done, the cheerful crowd gave her an applause to encourage to perform better next time.
There was a fantastic and harmonious performance by a choir from a high school. Their music revived the listeners hearts by its constructive tones and voices. The voices of the singers, from bass to soprano, were really amusing. The tenor voices had their place, too, and combined so well with the instruments. This performance could be termed as the highlight of the night. The instrumentalists sounded as the best on planet, as they could play the tones so well. The choir lit the concert with their angelic voices as the music was comfortably felt in the hearts of the audience. The stanzas were well-organized and the chorus was beautifully written.
The following performance was from violinists. Its sound was bright, mellow, and powerful, conveying same tones among the performers. They could shift from one sound to another beautifully and systematically. They played the instruments from different positions on the stage and combined the sounds with body and head movements. It seemed to be an adventure on the air, someone could remember the good memories as the sounds ran slowly through the mind. They later received much applause from the crowd to thank them for the performance.
The last performance was from a choir whose members looked to be aged around 35 years. There was a combination of different notes both low and high. It was a fantastic way to finish the concert, as most of the audience joined in the singing. The crowd joined the performance with the rhythmic movements to the music with a lot of excitement.
In conclusion, the concert was fabulous, as the performances had entertained most of the people if not all. The expectations and hopes of most listeners were met and even exceeded. However, the concert organizers need to work on getting a bigger hall for the upcoming events, since not all people were accommodated inside the halls. This aricle was written by Tim Kalkin .
