If a user was before a Google Chrome user, but now willing to transfer their important browser data to Safari, then they must know how to do it. Chrome and Safari both are different web browsers and both have different settings and features. However, if a user wants to export more data like browse history, bookmarks, and autofill data, they can follow the same procedure on Chrome. The only thing users must remember is that they need to check all the boxes to export other data.

Similar to Chrome, if anyone is using Mozilla Firefox, they will need to follow the same procedure to import their bookmarks, passwords and login details to Safari browser. The biggest reason to switch from Chrome is its performance. After the launch of the new macOS version, a lot of things have been improved in Safari which makes it a better web browser than Chrome.

Apple also claims that now Safari browser can load frequently opened websites 50% faster than the Chrome browser. The battery consumption by Safari browser is also reduced, which is why now users can stream on Safari browser longer.

Conclusion

The new version of macOS has brought plenty of improvements and new features which are making the users switch to Apple apps rather than any third-party apps. One of the biggest changes came into Safari browser privacy. Mac users can now control the visiting websites, and stop them to track their location and other important data.
