[2021] Two Methods to Mix Apple Music with Serato DJ

Serato DJ is a famous and useful DJ tool. Apple Music is one of the best streaming music services you can find. If we can DJ with Apple Music using Serato DJ, that will be a nice thing. But can we? There is no official method to do that. But here we find you 2 methods to mix Apple Music with Serato DJ.

Solution 1: Synchronize Apple Music songs to TIDAL
Although Serato DJ doesn't support Apple Music, it supports TIDAL and SoundCloud. So, we will introduce a solution to sync your Apple Music playlists to TIDAL. To do that, you need a TIDAL subscription and of course an Apple Music subscription. Please note that you should update your Serato DJ software to the latest version.

Now, the key is a service called Soundiiz, which serves as a middleman between all of the current streaming services, such as Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL, SoundCloud, and Youtube Music. Soundiiz can convert all the playlists that you currently have in those services to TIDAL. Soundiiz provides the automated transference of playlists, as well as a single interface as which to manage and synchronize between this music from those streaming services. After you sign up to Soundiiz, use it to transfer your playlists to TIDAL, you can then access the Apple Music songs within Serato DJ.
Solution 2: Convert Apple Music to MP3
This solution is to convert Apple Music to MP3 format so that you can directly import Apple Music to Serato DJ. Here you will need TunesKit Audio Converter. Here are the instructions for the conversion.

Step 1 Add Apple Music to TunesKit

First, download TunesKit Audio Converter from the link above Then launch TunesKit, and from the main interface, you will see three icons. Here's what they for:

1) This Music Note button is for importing iTunes library audios to the Converter.

2) This one is to add local audios to the Converter.

3) This is the "Converted History". When the conversion is done all your converted files will be placed under this catalog.

You should click the Load iTunes Library button to import them to the converter. Or directly drag files from the Apple Music media folder to the TunesKit.

Step 2 Set Output Format

When you finish step 1, open the "Format" panel to select an output format for your Apple Music audio files. Serato DJ Pro supported file types including MP3, OGG, ALAC,(mac & windows 10 only), FLAC, WAV, AIF, WL.MP3, MP4, M4A, and AAC(Mac only). TunesKit allows you to convert audios to MP3, AAC, M4A, M4B, WAV, and FLAC, which means you can choose any one of them as your output format. We recommend MP3 but you can make your choice depends on what actually you need.

Step 3 Convert Apple Music to MP3

Now you can take up the conversion by pressing the "Convert" button. Wait for a few minutes. then you can locate the converted Apple Music audio files in the folder you've selected. Since you get the converted Apple Music, you can import them to Serato DJ for remixing at any time.

Conclusion
To mix Apple Music with Serato DJ, you have two methods: Synchronize Apple Music songs to TIDAL or convert Apple Music songs to MP3. Here I suggest the second method since this one is much easier and after the conversion, you can play Apple Music without limits just like common audios.
