Build it with AES Globals - Modular according to your wishes

Build it the way you want!

Are you looking for a comprehensive door opening system without having to pay for features you don't want? Well now you can!

When it comes to door opening systems and access control, we have built an incredible reputation for reliable, high quality intercom systems. With this incredibly diverse modular system, you can now take advantage of all the options available and select only the components that you need for your application.
Understand the basics

If you're lucky enough to have used or installed an AES system before, you are already familiar with the build quality and ease of installation. For those who don't, let's take a look at the design, build, and general features before going into detail on the components available.

These systems are made of high quality powder-coated aluminum and are obviously not only durable in warm, dry conditions. We recognize that our climate can be quite unforgiving with externally installed electrical systems. That's why they used materials and design concepts, all of which are designed to withstand the harsh weather.

These systems use the GSM network. This means that a SIM card is required to call any phone number over the cellular network, whether it's your landline, cell phone, office, or even a temporary number on your hotel suite when you're on vacation are. This technology removes many of the limitations normally encountered with radio-based wireless intercom systems, which tend to be very restrictive. Of course, there is a cost to using the cellular network, but since many SIM packages are only offered for calls from different cellular providers, this is far less of a problem now than it used to be.

Of course, these systems can do more than just the communication side; From the list of modules it can be seen that these systems also serve as a full access control system with keyboard and card reader options as well as info windows etc.

Selection of your housing panel

There are numerous chassis panel designs available, ranging from a single module chassis to a 6 module chassis for more complex systems.

The housing designs range from 1 x 2 (two modules), 1 x 3 (three modules), 2 x 2 (four modules) and the largest in the range which is 2 x 3 (six modules). And while there are far more modules to choose from, it is unlikely that a system would require more than six of the options available. Call us in these rare cases and we can support you with the project.

In order to correctly select the housing you want, you first need to know which modules you want / need. A full list and the specified dependencies on specific modules (for example, one must be used with another) are provided below.

Panel size - One module 117 mm wide and 62 mm high - Two modules 117 mm wide 304 mm - Three modules 117 mm wide 441 mm high - Four modules 214 mm wide 304 mm wide - Six modules 214 mm wide 441 mm high

Modular

Selection of your modules

There are thirteen different module options to choose from. and the number of modules required determines the size of the housing panel required. There are also some module dependencies to be aware of. These dependencies are shown in bold below for simplicity.

Speaker module

The loudspeaker module is required for communication between the door and the user. It contains the speaker and microphone used for communication. In addition, the loudspeaker module also contains the main board for GSM communication. It is therefore a minimum requirement for systems of any size.

It is important to note that the loudspeaker panel must be combined with a keypad in order for visitors to place a call. If you only need one button, consider the speaker module with the button below.

Loudspeaker module with button

This model shares the same technology as the speaker module described above and has a built-in call button to maximize button capacity or minimize the cost of single-use systems that require only one button.

Although there are no specific dependencies or requirements for this panel, every system must have either this module or the standard speaker module mentioned above in order to be able to work over the GSM network.

Key modules

The button modules are available in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 button versions and have illuminated call buttons with backlit name fields that allow you to quickly and easily enter the name or flat number and identify the correct call button for each resident. You are not limited to one button module, but can stack several modules, which would theoretically enable a system with up to 26 buttons on the 6-module panels (with the first module a loudspeaker module with 1 button).

There are no specific dependencies for the button modules other than that a speaker module must be installed in the system. This is essential for the functioning of the entire system, so that it is not just a question of a dependency on these modules.
