Formwork is one form of brief mold in which concrete is poured to solid the specified form of concrete. Formworks are crafted from timber or metal, the surface in touch with the concrete being selected to provide the required finish. The formwork and its associated falsework have to have enough energy to support the burden of the wet concrete without extensive distortion.
