The sport is better than most people believe too. There have just been two deaths from Mixed Martial arts up to now, and those were in smaller unsanctioned events. With the beginning of correct sanctioning, Mixed Martial Arts will only become better and more competitive. Sanctioning may also provide a finish to the "backyard body bathrooms" that provide this kind of negative picture to the sport.

Mixed Martial Artists are some of the very most highly trained and effectively trained athletes in existence. The energy needed seriously to last a complete five units is incredible. Striking is quite demanding, and so might be the various throws and surface maneuvers essential to gain a fight. Many athletes train 6 times per week for between 3-5 hours a day.
