On the 1st of June 2020, a specific notification was issued by the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. According to this notification, the MSMEs were to be referred from thereon as Udyam. Thereby all those organizations which fall under the category of Udyam had to register via Udyam/MSME Registration Portal.

First of all, make sure to go to the designated site from where you can initiate the process in an authentic manner. You can easily find the link to print the Udyam application online.

In order to print your Udyam application, you must know your Udyam registration number. If you are unable to find the registration number then check the Udyam certificate, the registration number will be mentioned on that.

The next step is to enter your name. Make sure to enter your name correctly as mentioned on the aadhaar card.

The third step is to enter the mobile number that you provided at the time of registration. Please note that there is no need to add +91 before the mobile number and give the same mobile number that is mentioned on the Udyam certificate.

The next step is to enter your email id. The vital details like acknowledgment and certificate will be sent to this email id.

Once you have entered the above-mentioned details then the portal will ask you to choose the OTP option. You can either choose to get the OTP on your mobile number or on the registered email address.

In further steps, you will be required to upload your Udyam certificate, and don’t forget to mention the details that you want to be printed on it.

In the last steps, you will be asked to enter the details like your state and verification code.

One important aspect to note is that from the 1st of April 2021, GSTIN and PAN details are also required for Udyam Registration. So, if you have missed this criterion before then make sure to edit the application before initiating the printing process.
