A marriage green card is a marriage with a citizen or a green card holder, a green card through marriage. Marriage green cards are divided into US citizens applying for spouse and green card holders applying for spouse green cards. The difference is that citizen applying for the spouse does not have a visa number available, the spouse does not need to adopt legal status in the United States.
