Far Cry 6 has one of the better conclusions in the Far Cry series and brings Danis story a decent degree. But it also contains some hints on the future of the Far Cry series as a whole, with a great revelation that changes the view of Far Cry 6 in relation to the overall time strip of the series in the last decade.

At the end of the game, Castillo kills himself and Diego to give both a quick end, rather than let it capture from Libertad. Yara is now free of dictatorships and the future of the country is in the hands of the people who live there without government.

However, if you stay until after the credection, the game s logo will be displayed next to a black screen with a last note. While the logo is shown, you hear Juan Cortez talk to a smugglers who bought him Viviro.

This smuggler is actually Vaas Montenegro Far Cry 3, which confirms that Far Cry 6 is actually a prequel to Far Cry 3, as Vaas dies in Far Cry 3.

What this means for Far Cry 7 and beyond. This could only have fun for the players and have a nice way for ubisoft to repeat that all games of Far Cry take place in the same universe.

This tease could suggest that the next game of the series actually goes back in time and shows what Vaas - ubisoft s most popular antagonist from the series - prior to the tropical island of Far Cry 3.

A current Tease from Ubisoft indicates that a Far Cry Battle Royale game or a multiplayer title could be in progress. This could cause players to work against VAAs, or have Vaas as Mastermind behind the Battle-Royale concept of Ubisoft. However, this is currently all speculation.

Far Cry 6 has been predominantly positive - even in our own Far Cry 6 review, critics and players have said that the franchise has to be put on the head and this could be exactly that.
