Who, how, what the hell
I’ve received an email from a popular Medium writer. From her mailing list that, to be honest, is mostly pushy and way too frequent.
In that recent email, she described how she had only written 1 post in September, and yet her paycheck was over $2500. Even crazier, this is way below her usual average of around $10,000/month.
It wasn’t her single September story that earned the $2500 though, it accounted for less than half. It’s her catalog of existing stories that still gain reads. She has over 40K followers, a large mailing list, and a flourishing writing business.
