On 7 March 2019, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat started the Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Scheme Uttarakhand to save the children from malnutrition in his state. Under this scheme Megha skimmed milk will be made available at all about 20000 Anganwadi centers in the state of Uttarakhand. According to the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Scheme 2022 will prove to be an important weapon in the state's fight against diseases like malnutrition.

As you know, most of the children from poor middle class families of rural areas study at Anganwadi centers. Such children always lack proper and post-nutrition. Therefore, to save such children from malnutrition, milk will be given free of cost under this scheme. Because milk is considered a type of high postic food, eating which children will also be healthy.

Features of Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Yojana
Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Yojana Uttarakhand has the following features, which are as follows:-
Under this scheme, about 2.5 lakh children studying in about 20000 Anganwadi centers in the state of Uttarakhand will be given 100ml milk twice in a week absolutely free of cost.

Under the Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Scheme 2022, milk will be distributed to children who are 6 years or less than 6 years of age studying in Anganwadi.

Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Yojana has been started to fulfill the objective that the children of Uttarakhand state should be healthy and free from malnutrition.

Flavored, sweet and skimmed milk powder will be distributed under Mukhyamantri Anchal Amrit Yojana at 20,000 Anganwadi centers by the Uttarakhand Government Scheme

As a source of calcium and vitamins, milk is a good protein for the development of bones and teeth, improves the performance of the nervous system, enhances digestion, provides energy to the body.

Under this scheme, supply of milk will be made available in Anganwadi centres, government aided schools and madrasas.

100 ml milk will be provided to young children of primary level.

Whereas 150 ml milk will be provided to the children studying in upper primary level.

Milk will be provided by Uttarakhand Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited.

Milk powder packet will be delivered to the school every 3 months as per their demand and requirement. Under this scheme, quota of 3 months will be delivered to the school in one go.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Scheme Re-launched
Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Yojana 2022 has been started once again by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in a program organized in a hotel located on Ring Road. Where in the past, sweet and flavored milk was given to children twice a week. On the other hand, under this scheme, children studying in Anganwadi, whose age is between 3 years and 6 years, will be given sweet and postic milk for 4 days in a week by Anganwadi centers. This program will provide service to 170000 youth of Uttarakhand state and along with it will also promote health and nutritious diet of children.

According to Women Officer and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya, the Uttarakhand government has also allocated adequate budget for the Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Yojana. With the launch of this scheme, the state of Uttarakhand can be made malnutrition free. Under the scheme, Dairy Development Department will provide flavored fortified milk with Vitamin A and Vitamin D 4 days a week to children of 3 to 6 years in all Anganwadi centers in the state of Uttarakhand. With the launch of this scheme, 170000 youth of the state will be helped every month.

Budget of Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Yojana
To implement this scheme, about ₹ 120000000 will be needed. In which both the central government and the state government will contribute. Rs 6 crore will be spent by the central government and Rs 6 crore by the state government in Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Yojana.

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Yojana
Under the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Anchal Amrit Yojana, along with nutritious food, milk will also be provided to the children, so that there is no lack of nutrition in the body of small children.

Under the Aanchal Amrit Scheme Uttarakhand, children will be provided good nutritious food during the mid-day meal, so that their physical abilities develop and they feel inclined towards studies.

Under this scheme, children will be given flavored sweet milk powder in school, in the greed of this, at least the child will be encouraged to come to school.

Aromatic sweet and skimmed milk powder will be made available to about 20000 Anganwadi centers of Uttarakhand under Mukhyamantri Aanchal Amrit Scheme 2022.

With the introduction of this scheme in Uttarakhand, the demand for milk production will increase significantly, which will also benefit animal husbandry businesses.

With the launch of Mukhyamantri Anchal Amrit Yojana, there will be development in animal husbandry business, youth of Uttarakhand can also come on career in animal husbandry business.

For the smooth operation of this scheme, 8000 cows have been reached by the Uttarakhand government to the cattle rearers of the mountain in the plains.

An amount of Rs.24 crores will be provided to cattle farmers and Rs.8 crores for fodder transport grant under this scheme.
