Digital hearing aids come in different types with varying number of channels, depending on how many sounds it can process. They are the most popular hearing aid models. The three types of digital hearing aids are behind-the-ear (BTE), In-the-ear (ITE), in-the-canal (ITC) and completely-in-canal(CIC), Right-in-Canal (RIC),Invisible-in-canal (IIC). The BTE type is the cheapest among these but also not advisable for long term use. The ITC type costs around 1.5 Lakh and CIC type comes for 2.75 Lakh and above.
