Is there an Xfinity internet outage in my area?

Check for a Service Outage
If one or more of your Xfinity services isn’t operating, you can take a look to see if a service outage has been reported in your area using some different methods:
1. My Account
2. Comcast Outage Map
3. Outage Text Message Alerts
My Account
To test for an outage in My Account:
1. Sign in to My Account.
2. Click the Services tab on the top of the page.
3. Click the Status Center link.
4. A custom banner message will tell you:
• If you are in an outage.
• The potential outage type.
• The estimated time when the outage can be constant (if to be had).
o If there may be an outage that only affects one service, that service will show a red status. This means we are already aware of the outage and running to repair it, so there's no requirement to contact us.
o If all of your services show a green status, there are no reported outages in your locality. If you are having problems with your services however there isn’t an outage, you can try troubleshooting them instead.
o If troubleshooting doesn’t work, you may want to report your problem(s) using the Xfinity Status Center so we can help determine what’s causing it and provide you with more information.
Heads Up: You can also check for outages the use of the Xfinity My Account app for your mobile phone. Once you log in, a banner appears instantly if you're impacted by an outage. Simply tap it to get more details.

You can also see the Xfinity Outage Map in My Account:
1. Sign in to My Account.
2. Click the Services tab at the top of the webpage.
3. Click the Status Center link.
4. Click the Outage Map button.
• The map shows your service address ' status and outages in the surrounding areas.
• You can only see your service address. You can’t view other customers’ statuses, and they cannot view yours.
Outage Text Message Alerts
If you've registered your mobile number for Comcast Alerts at Xfinity live chat, you could text OUT to 266278 (COMCAST) to test for outages on your location. (Data and messaging prices can also practice.) You also have the option to get a text message to replace as soon as your Xfinity services are restored.
