The R7 won’t work with the Uniden jammers

I’ll be due for a new full size (not certain of brand) truck this fall and would like to add laser protection. I am 75% Iowa driving with the balance in IL and MO. I run from +10-20 PSL, usually set cruse on +15. Judging by the open IA state contracts I could run into a range of guns including DE. I don’t know what flavors of LiDAR are actually in widespread use.

Obviously, ALP’s are the way to go but I really don’t encounter much laser (zero in local driving) and am not interested in…

How to Troubleshoot Various Error Messages in a Vape Kit?

Whether you own a Geekvape Aegis X or Aegis Boost Plus, one of the best aspects of owning a high-end vape kit is the ability to communicate with your device. Because sophisticated vaping devices have a digital display, they can show an error message if anything isn't working properly. The error notice makes it clear what the issue is and what you should do about it.

The issue is that some vaping device instruction manuals are notoriously short and leave out a lot of information that you'd need to truly understand how your mod works if you're not a vaping expert. We're here to assist you with some error messages you're getting in your vape kit. To troubleshoot the most common vape mod problem errors, please keep reading.

Atomizer Low, Atomizer High, Resistance Low, or Resistance High

If any one of the above error messages appears on your Geek Vape mod, it implies the resistance of the interconnected atomizer coil is outside of the range supported by your device. You could be seeing that error notice for one of two reasons.

The first is that you're attempting to use a sub-ohm tank with an older device that doesn't allow sub-ohm vaping. Because practically all vape mods on the market have been sub-ohm devices for a long time, this is unlikely to happen with any vaping equipment purchased in the last several years.

However, if you buy a used vape mod on the secondhand market, you can run into this issue. Older vaping devices have become collector's items, but you should keep in mind that using an older mod with a modern tank isn't really possible.

Another reason you might get one of the above error messages is if something is wrong with your atomizer coil. For most vape mods to not work, the coil resistance would have to be incredibly high or extremely low. This usually means the atomizer coil has a manufacturing flaw or isn't correctly installed. The problem should be resolved by replacing the coil.
Check Atomizer

The notice "Check Atomizer" indicates that your vape mod isn't detecting the atomizer coil connected to it. This could indicate that the tank isn't properly constructed, that the tank isn't securely connected to the mod, or that the coil is malfunctioning.

To troubleshoot a "Check Atomizer" problem, follow these steps.

Take the tank out of your mod. Is there e-liquid in the threading of the mod? Using a paper towel, wipe it away. Reattach the tank, making sure it's completely screwed down. Do you have the ability to vape? If not, proceed to the next step.

Remove the Vape atomizer coil and screw it back in tightly after disassembling the tank. Assemble the tank again. Do you have the ability to vape? If not, proceed to the next step.

Replace your vape atomizer coil with a new one. If you're still getting the "Check Atomizer" notice after following the steps above, the coil most likely has a manufacturing flaw.
