Usually, in industry, OSHA fall protection is required at a height of 4 feet. In construction work, fall safety is required above six feet. Protection must be provided when an employee works with hazardous equipment or machinery, regardless of the space. Employers are responsible to figure out the locations where fall protection is required, confirm that proper protection systems are provided, and eventually to implement employee training in their use. Get more information about OSHA Fall Protection at various online sources.
