Troubleshooting iCloud not working
iCloud photos not syncing can be quite alarming as there is a risk that you will lose precious memories if something happens to your iPhone. There are several ways to fix photos not uploading to iCloud, and we'll walk you through each one! These troubleshooting steps will teach you how to upload photos to iCloud without worry.

How to Fix All Photos Synced to iCloud from iPhone Problems
iCloud has been described as the glue that holds our Apple devices together. iCloud Photos allows users to save, find, and share photos and videos from any of their Apple devices. For more tips and tricks for navigating iCloud, be sure to sign up for our free Tip of the Day newsletter!

1. Restart your iPhone or iPad
This is one of the most basic yet useful steps to follow, regardless of the type of iPad or iPhone failure you are struggling with. Restarting your device doesn't delete any of your data or saved items, it only clears your data cache and can fix issues like app crashes, a frozen device, or in this case, an iCloud issue. If you're not sure how to do this, click here to learn how to hard reset an iPhone or iPad. If your photos don't upload to iCloud even after restarting, try the following steps.

2. Check your Internet connection
If your iPhone or iPad isn't connected to the internet, there's no way to get your photos uploaded to iCloud. Make sure your device is connected to the Internet through a stable Wi-Fi or cellular network. If you suspect your connection is slow, try an Internet speed test. If you are connected to a cellular network, your device may automatically pause charging to avoid using all your data. Try connecting to a Wi-Fi network and tap resume to continue your upload.

3. Check your battery level
Just as your device can automatically pause iCloud charging if you're not connected to Wi-Fi, your charging can also pause if your battery is low. Try connecting your phone to a charger and tap resume. If you are still experiencing your video or photostream not updating, try the following steps.

4. Get the latest software update from Apple
Apple has released annually updated iPhone software for years. Installing the latest iOS (or iPadOS) update improves device security and prevents crashes and bugs, so the update will most likely help resolve your problems with photos not uploading to iCloud. The first thing to do if your photos won't upload to the cloud is to make sure your device software is up to date. If that doesn't fix the problem, continue to the next step on our list. If you're not sure if you have the latest update, just check your settings to see if an update is available.

5. Enable Photo Uploading in Your iCloud Settings
The first thing you need to do is make sure the correct settings are enabled to allow your photos to be uploaded to iCloud. The steps below are the same on iPad. To do this:
Open the Settings app.
Tap your Apple ID profile at the top of the page.
Tap iCloud.
Tap Photos.
Make sure iCloud Photos is turned on.

You can locate, display a message, remotely lock, and erase your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac with iCloud. If you're having trouble, try these tips:

Make sure the date on your device is correct: Settings > General > Date and time.
Make sure your iCloud account is set up on your device.
If you have multiple iCloud accounts, only one can have to Find My iPhone turned on at any given time.
Find My Mac can only find your Mac if it is connected to the Internet through a known Wi-Fi Internet connection. If you are connected to the Internet via an Ethernet cable, this feature will not work.
Your device must be ON, not off.
