Gustavo Petro's Lights and Shadows, the winner of The Historic Pact

Gustavo Petro the candidate confirmed on Sunday the favoritism that was spotted in polls for the past week.

(Position of Candidates to the Historic Pact On Pensions and Inflation).

The win was won by Bogota's previous mayor and senator from the Republic. This officially qualifies him for the Presidency of the Republic the office that he is aspiring to for the 3rd time.

His high vote during the consultation makes him the most representative of the Colombian Left, and a reliable candidate for the presidency, despite the fact that his ideas and proposals are controversial on multiple fronts, including the economic one.

Petro stated his intent to alter pensions through the creation of a public manager for pension funds. Petro also plans to establish an arrangement that can be "mixed-and-complementary" with private funds.

https://www.elheraldo.co/gustavo-petro stated that Colombia has no pension system but instead, a system of bank profit. This is the reason that many believe would make Petro the most likely candidate to win the President. https://www.asuntoslegales.com.co/gustavo-petro has recently stated that he would not eliminate the system but would push for reforms to the pension system so that they can provide an income that is minimum for Colombians. petro gustavo said that there is no need to increase the age of retirement.

Another controversial issue is the fact that he has repeatedly stated that he would stop oil extraction as soon as he assumes office. This has created confusion among investors and the market generally.

I would invite Gabriel Boric, the new Chilean president, as well as Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva Luiz Inacio Da Silva, the Brazilian vice-president.

Petro claimed that he had spoken to Pedro Sanchez, Spain's Prime Minister, in recent times regarding his idea.

His position on health is as well controversial. He has demanded the ending of EPS and has replaced it with a model of preventive medicine that "guarantees the rights of individuals and not the profit margins of bankers."

He has also questioned the legitimacy of Banco de la Republica.

According to Petro, "the Board of Directors of the Bank is part of an political party called the Democratic Center" and therefore, "what we want is a truly independent Bank of the Republic (...) it's to me crucial to ensure that the board has the presence of the society," said the candidate in the middle of the debate.

According to Invamer, Petro leads the decision to vote for the presidential election.

The idea of releasing money to fund the government's spending was a source of controversy.

Petro's recommendations include an economy that isn't dependent on fossil fuels and the extraction of hydrocarbons and mining. Agriculture plays a bigger part to play.

It is also stated that he could implement a tax overhaul which would end exemptions, and convert the concept of minimum wage into real wages that are based upon capital and income.
