nitsana darshan leitner -based legal activist organization is calling on Australian survivors and their descendants to sign up to its class action program against insurers whose Holocaust-era predecessors did not pay for policies held by dislocated and killed European Jews.

Nitsana Dahan-Leitner (Israeli attorney, human rights advocate), founded Shurat HaDin Israel Law Centre. AJN stated that Project Last Chance will pursue the insurance companies that made use of World War II chaos and the Shoah to avoid paying out claims to victims, survivors, and their descendants.

"My mission is to obtain compensation for victims at the end their lives. https://www.tabletmag.com/tags/shurat-hadin owed to survivors, it's their money. It's your money when protect your assets. Your house or your life. It's yours to keep. it.

Darshan Leitner said that US Senate estimates suggested that up to 200 billion dollars were obliterated from Jewish policyholders as a result of insolvent WWII insurance companies of the time. There are numerous legal successor entities that can be traced in the market today, which can be traced to these debts.

Shurat HaDin will use its expertise to investigate banks and financial institutions, like banks that hold terrorist assets.

"We have taken legal action against banks, governments and other companies who have been involved in been involved in assisting or encouraging terrorist acts. https://www.hachettebooks.com/contributor/nitsana-darshan-leitner/ and aren't afraid to confront huge banks, countries, or multinational corporations," she added.

Shurat Haidin is also launching legal action against Israel to get access to the list of 140,000 Holocaust survivors/descended - who have listed approximately two million assets under Israel’s Project Heart. The Israeli government, working in tandem with Jewish Agency for Israel invited applicants to take part in the restitution scheme. But, nitsana darshan leitner was ended abruptly and left all participants in an uncertain state.

nitsana darshan leitner contacted the government to get clarifications, however, she was unable to get a reply. Israel's Labour and Social Services Ministry claimed that Project Heart was intended to give individuals with claims. Thus, the beneficiaries cannot be identified. One theory suggests that Israel underestimated European governments' reluctance regarding lists of thousands or hundreds of claimants.

If their identities are released to Shurat HaDin Shurat HaDin, the Project Heart participants could become participants in class actions initiated under Project Last Chance, Darshan-Leitner said.

Shurat Hadin said Project Last Chance is taking an approach that is different from the Claims Conference, established in 1951. It has petitioned governments for Holocaust restitution, rather than targeting companies and firms directly.
