16 Komori installations in less than a year around Delhi-NCR

Komori India installed 16 machines of various configurations in and around the Delhi-NCR region in FY 23-24. The Japanese machine manufacturer installed six GL 437 presses – one at Impressions Printing & Packaging (a subsidiary of Amar Ujala) in May 2023; one at Sterling Graphics in Manesar in May 2023; one at Kumar Offset in Delhi in August 2023; one at Advantage Offset in Delhi’s Naraina Industrial Area in September 2023; one at A&M Printers in Delhi in March 2024 and another one at Gita Press, Gorakhpur, also in March 2024.

Komori makes web offset presses, security printing presses, sheet-fed offset presses, package printing presses and printing-related equipment.

Prabhdit Batra of Sterling Graphics, Manesar, shared his experience with the GL 437 with Indian Printer & Publisher, “The Komori GL 437 is a stable machine and its quality and build is good. I have had a good experience with Komori and would like to add more machines from the company at our plant in the future.”

According to information provided by the company, apart from the six GL 437 machines, Komori installed eight E-429 offset printing presses in the northern region and parts of Delhi-NCR. The list includes Royal Offset in Delhi’s Patparganj Industrial Area in May 2023; Printers Club with PDP in Jaipur in August 2023; Goel in Delhi in August 2023; Design ‘o’ Experts in Delhi in August 2023; M K Packaging in Delhi in December 2023; Mohan Packaging in Hathras in February 2024; and Gomti Printers in Delhi in March 2024.

Baljeet Singh, proprietor of Royal Offset said, “Komori machines are economical with low maintenance and low electricity consumption. The service support from Komori, both telephonic and in-plant, is exceptional.”

Komori also installed a GL 540 AC 1R at Omega Printopack in Haridwar in June 2023 and one GL 437 C 1R at Samrat Offset in Delhi in October 2023.
