This can be because you clicked the QuickBooks icon multiple times before giving it adequate time to load and open. Some other reasons include-
* Damage in your QB data, including QBWUSER.ini file
* Your windows is outdated.
* Go to the QBWUSER.ini file in QB folder and Rename it by adding .old as an extension.
* Open Windows Update from search panel, select Check for Updates, and click Download and install if any update is available.
