Finance Ministry refutes reports of alleged rise in Indians' funds in Swiss banks

"Certain reports have appeared in the media on 18.06.2021 stating that funds of Indians in Swiss Banks have risen to over Rs 20,700 crore (CHF 2.55 billion) at the end of 2020 from Rs 6,625 crore (CHF 899 million) at the end of 2019, reversing a 2-year declining trend. With 11,361 new cases, Kerala remains top contributor to India’s Covid-19 tally

The state has been reporting the highest number of infections for the last four days. On June 18, it reported 12,469 cases, 13,270 infections on June 17 and 12,246 on June 16. Till June 15, apart from Kerala, Tamil Nandu and Karnataka were also reporting more than 10,000 daily cases. These states recorded over 100 deaths on that day.

Telangana cancels Class 12 exams, all Class 11 students to be promoted

The state government has further said that Class 12 results will be declared on the basis of pre-determined objective criteria. The Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Examination has been directed to issue orders for promoting all Class 11 students to Class 12. The Class 11 students will now be eligible to attend classes. The government has, however, announced the Class XI exams will be conducted sooner or later, and that students will have to appear for these exams.…

AP revenue officials recovers 49 acres from TD leader
