6 tips for managing sweaty hair after the gym according to fitness bloggers

Exercise often takes much longer when you need to include time to wash and dry your hair after each workout. Washing your hair after every sweaty gym is too much work, but that doesn't mean you have to throw it in a awkward braid the next time you wash it.

We asked several fitness bloggers to share tips on how to manage sweaty hair on the second or third day, because they know the fight all too well.

Use a dry shampoo before exercising
You probably already know that dry shampoo is your best friend when your hair is greasy, but did you know that you should use it before you sweat? Anju Mobin from Best Of Nutrition swears by this tip. She explained: "Spraying dry shampoo on the roots before visiting the gym is the best way to avoid greasy hair. It absorbs excess sebum and dirt when you sweat." A good alternative is Living Proof Perfect Hair Day daily shampoo, which really cleanses the hair.

Put your hair in a braid or in a casual bun
Dry shampoo is definitely not your only way to make sweaty hair look great. Amber Nash of Fit Healthy How Does Clenbuterol Work Best said: "Nowadays everyone uses dry shampoo, but my proven tricks are to have a super absorbent towel, a hairy mist and a style that will last until the third day. Low buns or nice braids are an option." You can also try knit styles for a firm grip.

Use hot styling tools
Buns and braids are not the only way to style sweaty hair. Take advantage of extra gravel and use hot tools. Brooke Cavalla of Struggles of a Fit Mom suggested, "Use curling irons or irons to style your hair. If people can overcome the bad feeling of not washing their hair, dirty hair can keep amazing curls!"

Moisten the roots and then adjust
You usually have the most sweaty part of your hair at the roots, so focus on it. Liz Jeneault of Faveable said, "All I do is moisten the roots and other small parts of my hair with water. Wear headbands when exercising
There is a practical headband to prevent sweating. Jeanette DePatie of Everybody Can Exercise said, "I sweat the most in my hairline, so during hard training days I wear a headband to lift my hair out of my face during training."
