Let's meet Julia, a pediatric nurse, and Matt, who's a vehicle technician, who married on 8 September 2018 at St Leonard's Church, Blunsdon, Wiltshire.

A marquee reception gave them the creative freedom to plan a relaxed, informal, and personal day, in addition to hosting it around the banks of the river for many fun and games. An overarching 'natural' theme inspired by pared-back Scandi style, easy and pretty daisies, origami, and touches of green and yellow gave the pair a framework to utilize.

Julia and Matt first met in school and have fond memories of the area from the time they were becoming an adult. They planned the marriage themselves with information from their parents. I love they asked their family and friends to share their talents, having a florist, hair and makeup artist, cake maker, and caterer sharing their skills.

"Matt and I met at secondary school and were firm friends throughout our teenage life. We became boyfriend and girlfriend after we had finished school and I moved away for the sixth form – which resulted in Matt doing lots of to-ing and fro-ing visiting me around the weekends!"

"We were together for approximately seven along with a half years before we got engaged whenever we took our campervan to Dorset for that weekend to celebrate my birthday."

I love the choice of outfit for that bridesmaids; pleated halter-neck jumpsuits with culotte-style legs inside a pale mint green from.

"The bridesmaids wore their very own necklace and bracelets but were each gifted a set of origami crane earrings to complement the theme."

Julia chose for her and her bridesmaids to put on individual flowers within their hair, styled by. I adore the Scandi feel developed by Julia's elegant coronet of plaits, which was developed. Her make-up was light and pretty, perfect for any relaxed day.



The bride selected a pure white, ethereally delicate gown. Its open back, dainty bodice, and gossamer sleeves look so wonderful for that countryside wedding, and I love the way it flows into the dramatic full skirt. Julia thought it was in Swansea coupled with it altered to fit her perfectly.

Whilst the groomsmen and fathers from the bride and groom all wore the same suits, matching green socks, and brown brogues, these were differentiated by their bow ties. The best men sported mustard and white geometric pattern whilst the ushers and fathers from the groom had plain mustard bow ties.

Although Julia had originally planned to put on an heirloom veil, its lace didn't match her gown so she decided on a diaphanous, cathedral-length design.

"I wanted a veil which was more modern and unusual which would then add embellishment to my train."

Pretty buttonholes of white blooms and green leaves, developed by family friend Nicky Strange, completed their look.

"We both have a love for old music, particularly in the 60s which has influenced our style and also the way we decorate the house."

"This was combined having a love of Scandinavian style, featuring natural wood, geometric patterns, and botanical themes. Although we didn't wish to stick to some color 'theme', we decided that the marriage flowers would incorporate daisies so there is a vague color pattern of whites and grey with yellow and green accents."

These wonderful photographs were captured by a photographer, whose style perfectly encapsulates the relaxed, pared-back feel of the day. I love her utilization of muted colors and concentration on individual details. I'm also impressed that they took towards the river for many boating using the newlyweds, too.

"Siobhan continues to be wonderful from start to finish. Matt and I met together with her for coffee whenever we first made contact and she discovered us as very warm and friendly; we knew straight away that people wanted her to capture our wedding. During the pre-wedding shoot, she helped us to feel at ease in front of the camera which meant that there is no awkwardness around the wedding day."

"She went far above to get an ideal shot and all sorts of our guests were astonished by her professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail. During the ceremony, she was discreet, but throughout the party was built a good rapport with guests; to us, she just felt like one from the party! We are stunned by her photos and may not thank her enough for capturing our day so beautifully."

"The night before the marriage, delegate somebody to cope with last-minute wedding disasters. Free yourself up, stick a film on and switch your phone off. I found this helped to ward off the marriage jitters and I slept much better than I likely would've had I spent the evening thinking about the marriage day."
