It's hard to speak about the Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup design without first mentioning this thing's size. The PIXMA Pro-100 weighs at 15.2 x 27.2 x 8.5 inches a back-breaking 43.2 pounds. While this may not be so good when it needs to be transferred, the Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup build quality leaves little doubt about its durability and roughness.

Apart from the rounded edges on the printer's four corners, the Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup features a very square design and a very cuboid design. The different paper holders and trays fold up and beautifully latch up to create a much cleaner look when not in use. Using very strong contact points, the latching processes for the paper tray and print holder give the printer a premium feel as it is opened and closed before and after use.

The phone has only three buttons: the energy button, a paper feed button, and an immediate wireless connection dedicated WPS button for Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup. Like other Canon picture printers, it would have been great to see some kind of screen to view ink concentrations and navigate the menu, but Canon appears to have reserved that for its all-in-one printers and much more costly ImagePROGRAF Pro-1000 printers.
