The Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup is the entry-level offer of Canon in its professional photo printer lineup of inkjet printers. It features an eight-inch system and a maximum 13x19 inch borderless print size, matching the more costly picture printers from Canon. The Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup is intended with photographers in mind, although it can readily print records. We got our hands on one and placed it through the paces to see how it works when it's put to the test. We cover everything from design and set-up to print quality and cost.

It's hard to speak about the Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup design without first mentioning this thing's size. The PIXMA Pro-100 weighs at 15.2 x 27.2 x 8.5 inches a back-breaking 43.2 pounds. While this may not be so good when it needs to be transferred, the Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup build quality leaves little doubt about its durability and roughness.

Apart from the rounded edges on the printer's four corners, the Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup features a very square design and a very cuboid design. The different paper holders and trays fold up and beautifully latch up to create a much cleaner look when not in use. Using very strong contact points, the latching processes for the paper tray and print holder give the printer a premium feel as it is opened and closed before and after use.

The phone has only three buttons: the energy button, a paper feed button, and an immediate wireless connection dedicated WPS button for Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup. Like other Canon picture printers, it would have been great to see some kind of screen to view ink concentrations and navigate the menu, but Canon appears to have reserved that for its all-in-one printers and much more costly ImagePROGRAF Pro-1000 printers.
Here Are the Simple Steps for Canon Pixma Pro 100 Setup
The Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup is a breeze to set up to be a professional inkjet picture printer— Canon offers all the necessities inside the box to get off the floor for Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup. After the printer, wires, ink, printhead, disks, manuals and accessories have been removed from the box, the first step is to plug it in — wait for it. The printhead access lid must be removed from there in order to install the printhead and ink. In the matter of 90 seconds or so, we walked through the process of putting the printhead and ink cartridges in location— a process that was helped by ink cartridge compartments that glowed green when the cartridge was correctly mounted and red when wrongly mounted.
The Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup runs through its ink initiation phase after the ink is mounted, which lasts a couple of minutes. We took the time to install the correct drivers and associated software while it did its thing. We chose to download the different printers and software straight from Canon Pixma Pro 100 setup download page instead of using the disks included in the box, because we did not have access to a CD drive.
