Harnessing the Power of ACIM Audio: A Gateway to Spiritual Transformation

In the quest for spiritual enlightenment, "A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) has emerged as a beacon of profound wisdom and transformative power. Originating from the channeled work of psychologist Helen Schucman, ACIM offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to facilitate spiritual awakening through the principles of love, forgiveness, and inner peace. As the teachings of ACIM have evolved over time, modern technology has played a crucial role in making these insights more accessible. Among the… Continue
Often when you ask someone what they want from life they will reply:

"I just want to be comfortable."

Well Tony Jefferson Jersey , I can almost guarantee that anyone who says this is struggling in life and frustrated with their results. Someone who says they just want to be comfortable often feels that they don't deserve great success and that success is elusive. And they can prove it, for that is exactly what their life has demonstrated to date.

The sad thing is that some of these individuals have given up altogether on their greatness, while others may still have big dreams but think they do not have the power to realise their dreams so they too give up.

"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true."
Richard Bach

These individuals do not believe in the premise that you create your reality and that the first step in the creation process is in believing you can achieve what you desire.

"To accomplish great things, we must not only act but also dream, not only plan but also believe."
Anatole France

When you believe, the Universe starts to shift in such a way as to make the seemingly impossible possible. Adidas currently has an advertising campaign "Impossible is Nothing". You only have to read the stories behind the myriad of athletes featured in this campaign to recognise the power of self-belief.

In order to accomplish great things, you have to step outside your comfort zone. To accomplish greatness generally means that you are striving for something you have not achieved before. So being comfortable is a myth.

People often want to have all the resources in place before they embark on their big dreams. Those who follow this path rarely succeed. You have to be ready and willing to start wherever you are with whatever you have and this can often mean that you start with nothing.

"I now realize there are millions of self-made millionaires who started with nothing. They dug inside themselves to find the answers and they succeeded. There is nothing anyone else can do that I can't do."
Dean Graziosi, Author of Totally Fulfilled

Even people who state their goal in life is to be comfortable often have a strong desire to do good in the world and help their fellow man. The difficulty with this is that the amount of good you are able to bestow is then generally confined to your physical presence and little above this. However, if you are wealthy, you are able to achieve and give so much more. Many prominent and wealthy individuals are great philanthropists, just look at Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.

There is nothing virtuous about just being comfortable. Bob Proctor in his Science of Getting Rich seminar asks why make do with a little when you can use a lot? The effort it takes to be comfortable is just as much, if not more so, than the effort required to become rich. Why tread water when you can swim? So make becoming rich your goal and you just might end up being comfortable.
Former FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke of France looks on outside the Court of Arbitration for Sport prior to his appeal over his 10-year ban from football in Lausanne, Switzerland, on October 11, 2017.

Fired by FIFA and banned from soccer for financial wrongdoing and excessive use of private jets, Jerome Valcke defended his record at the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Wednesday.

Valcke, the CEO-like secretary general at FIFA for eight years during Sepp Blatter's presidency, spent more than six hours at a CAS hearing in Lausanne, Switzerland, to challenge his 10-year ban.

"I tried to show that I never acted against the interests of FIFA, that I always did my job in the best possible manner," Valcke said after the hearing.

A verdict is expected within weeks.

The former TV presenter from France was a FIFA marketing executive — being fired once before in 2006 — before becoming then-president Blatter's right-hand man the next year. He was fired a second time in January 2016 after being implicated in irregular World Cup ticket and broadcast rights sales, plus expense abuses, including personal use of private flights.

That case emerged in the fallout from a United States Department of Justice indictment published in May 2015 that rocked FIFA and has removed a swathe of leaders from world soccer.

"I ask the question to myself many, many times, why such hate? Why such a desire from FIFA to destroy not only what has been done in the past but what has been done by myself?" Valcke said.

The FIFA ethics committee banned Valcke for 12 years, with an additional charge of destroying evidence. FIFA's appeal panel cut the ban by two years because it judged the broadcasting deal charge was not proven.

Valcke has denied all wrongdoing, and is also under criminal investigation by Switzerland's attorney general. Proceedings were opened against Valcke in March 2016 "on suspicion of various acts of criminal mismanagement".

Ethics case

A separate FIFA ethics case was opened in September 2016 to investigate Valcke, Blatter and former FIFA finance director Markus Kattner over contracted bonuses. Some World Cup bonuses over US$10 million were due to be paid, and had been signed off by other FIFA officials.

Valcke's main role was overseeing troubled preparations for the ultimately successful 2010 and 2014 World Cups hosted by South Africa and Brazil, respectively.

The FIFA ethics investigation was provoked by allegations in September 2015 that Valcke sought to profit from a black market ticket deal for the World Cup in Brazil. The deal, with a contracted FIFA ticketing partner, later fell through and no money was paid.

The South African connection implicated Valcke in the sweeping American investigation which eventually forced Blatter from office af.
