A Summer Meadow Inspired Barn Wedding

This is a relaxed and rustic barn celebration, by having an outdoor ceremony from the backdrop of the lovely Malvern Hills. It's additionally a day full of vintage-inspired touches, particularly in our bride's customized tulle dress, and her Audrey Hepburn-influenced hairstyle.

They were married on 26 July 2019, in Herefordshire. The venue first opened in June 2019, and Frances and Grant's marriage was their initial outdoor ceremony.

"I loved the petal shape from the bodice using the crisscross ribbon we added in the back, and also the soft, floaty tulle. We took lots of weight out from the tulle to find the floaty, soft edge I wanted. I always thought I would possess a tulle dress; I wear lots of it anyway because the 50s is my favorite era. This dress also provided great shape, because the top half was corseted, and merely seemed to compliment me and my style."

"I have always loved vintage style. I have never been someone to be traditional, and try to like to put a twist on things, hence the grey within the dress. My mum owns a clothes shop, so I've spent my entire life knowing the latest trends and designs, and I followed lots of blogs and Pinterest to obtain inspiration for your day."

The addition of pretty crystal hairpins added subtle sparkle to Frances' hair, and she or he also wore drop earrings borrowed from her mum, in addition to a simple silver bangle from her bridesmaid Kat, engraved using the words, 'Forever and try to buy your side.'

The bridesmaids' dresses were all from FeelTimes, with Frances' Maid of Honour in an attractive wrap style dress, and also the other bridesmaids in lace and chiffon halterneck dresses, all inside a soft shade of celadon green. They wore their very own choice of white shoes and fresh gypsophila in their hair.

"They wore their very own jewelry, and I got them a personalized bracelet. It would be a silver bracelet having a knot inside it (for helping us get married) as well as an initialed disc, as well as an amethyst crystal to complement the lavender theme from the wedding."

"Grant and I met in July 2015. We met on the internet and had our first date in Café Boheme in London. We were both residing in London at the time."

"Grant inquired about marrying him around the last day of the Eastern European journey holiday whenever we were in Lake Bled in Slovenia. He got recorded on one knee within the snow on the side of the lake. This was in March 2018, and I was then married in July 2019."

Frances and Grant worked along with to come up having a delicious menu that was also relaxed and informal, too. The feast began with salmon bruschetta, then barbecued food served on sharing platters, along with a chocolate brownie with Bakewell pudding frozen treats for dessert.

In the evening, there have been sparklers and smoke bombs, in addition, to live music from the band The Hot Rods, which Frances and Grant found through.

"We struggled with selecting the first dance. When considering it we wanted a song that meant something to us, and 2 New Year's Eve ago we stayed in and watched Hootenanny around the telly, and Jessie Ware was on and sang a song called Alone. We danced together within our living room into it."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't sweat the little stuff – nobody will notice if something doesn't happen promptly or visit plan – only you know!”

"Take some time for you and your partner, even when it is just 5 minutes in some places, make sure you get it done. Step back and take everything in – see all of your favorite people in a single room for you personally! I floated all day long! It was the very best day of my entire life so far and I would get it done all again inside a heartbeat!"
