With life jackets, there should be some throwable flotation devices as well on your boat. These floating devices can save a person if he/she accidentally falls in the water. Such throwable devices have a line attached with them to pull the drowning person closer.

Fire Extinguishers

Make sure to have some fire extinguishers on the boat in case of fire. In boats, a fire can be caused by generators and in the presence of fuel. It would be best if you learned how to use fire extinguishers from your elders.

Ensure the expiry date on fire extinguishers and check that the material should not be corrosive. There is humidity in the air which can cause the material to corrode easily.
